For appliance repair in Cochrane, our Red Seal technicians handle laundry, range hoods, fridges, dishwashers and ranges west of Calgary, a drive of about 30 minutes on Highway 1A from where they live. A $100 diagnostic covers the visit and a written quote, and it’s credited to labour if you repair. Same-day and next-day slots are available.
We serve Cochrane regularly. Visits there have included laundry and kitchen ventilation work, such as a noisy LG dryer and an older range hood with weak suction.
The price and process don’t change with the drive. You pay the same $100 diagnostic as a Calgary customer, and you see the parts and labour on a quote before any work starts.

No. A Cochrane address doesn’t change the price: $100 for the diagnostic, drive included.
If a repair would cost more than half of what a comparable new appliance costs, replacement usually wins. We add age to that: under about 8-10 years old and under half the replacement price, repair it. Premium brands are the exception; they nearly always justify the repair.
LG is priced like every other brand: the $100 diagnostic, then parts and labour on a written quote. Typical all-in totals are $160-400 for a dryer, $180-450 for a washer and $200-650 for a fridge, before GST.
Yes. A Cochrane range hood we serviced was about 25 years old. A full strip-down and degrease brought the suction back without new parts. If an older unit does need parts, the quote shows the cost before anything is ordered.
Same-day and next-day appointments are available. Use online booking to pick a slot.
Ovens, stoves, microwaves and garbage disposals are covered in Cochrane as well.
The technician finds the fault, tells you what it is, and writes up the cost. Nothing is ordered or replaced until you agree. If you skip the repair, the $100 is your whole bill.
Repair work carries our 3-month parts and labour warranty, with extended guarantee options available; see the terms of service.
Sunset Ridge, Heritage Hills, Fireside, Riversong, GlenEagles, Bow Meadows, Heartland and the historic downtown are all within our Cochrane coverage, north and south of the Bow River.
The Town of Cochrane’s August 2024 sample from its water treatment plant measured 166 mg/L hardness as calcium carbonate (Town of Cochrane lab report). That’s hard water. Mineral build-up from it collects on washer inlet screens and in dishwasher filters, so cleaning them now and then is sensible.
Cochrane calls are handled by our Red Seal technicians, a team led by Sean Rigby, our senior technician. The older range hood above is a good example of how we work: a careful strip-down and clean fixed it, so the owner paid for no parts.
